What Flip The Bill Is
Flip The Bill is a social decision game for groups at restaurants, bars, or social outings. Players are dealt cards, and the reveal decides who pays the bill — or who wins, depending on the mode selected. The game adds suspense and fun to the everyday question of who picks up the tab.
The app is free to use. No sign-up is required to play.
What Flip The Bill Is Not
To be clear, Flip The Bill is:
- Not a gambling app
- Not a betting platform
- Not a real-money card game
- Not a casino or gaming site
- Not a payment processor
- Not a financial service
No wagers are placed inside the app. No real money changes hands through the app. The app does not handle, collect, or manage restaurant bills, tabs, or payments between users.
User Responsibility
Flip The Bill creates a game result — it does not enforce or settle real-world payments. Users are responsible for how they choose to use the outcome of the game and for settling any actual bills among themselves. We are not a party to any financial arrangement between players.
By using the app, you agree to use it for lawful, social purposes only.
No Financial Advice or Payment Handling
Flip The Bill does not provide financial advice. The game result is for entertainment and social decision-making only. The app does not process, enforce, or guarantee payment of any real-world bill between participants.
Host Mode and Premium Features
Optional premium features may be available for the game organizer (Host Mode), including larger player counts and advanced settings. Premium features may be available as a one-time in-app purchase:
- iOS purchases are processed by Apple App Store
- Android purchases are processed by Google Play
- Purchase management may use RevenueCat
Store availability is subject to change. Check the app or flipthebill.app for current status. Purchases are subject to the terms and refund policies of Apple and Google.
Acceptable Use
When using Flip The Bill, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or tamper with the app or its features
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Abuse, exploit, or disrupt the service or other users
- Attempt to access admin or restricted features without authorization
Intellectual Property
The Flip The Bill name, logo, design, visual assets, and overall app experience are the property of the Flip The Bill project and its owner. All rights are reserved.
You may share result images or screenshots generated by the app for personal and social use (for example, sharing who paid the bill with your group). You may not use the Flip The Bill name, logo, or visual assets for commercial purposes or in a way that implies affiliation without permission.
Disclaimers
Flip The Bill is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The app may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance or technical issues.
We are not liable for any disputes between friends, groups, or third parties arising from the use of the app's game result, including disputes about who pays a restaurant bill or any other real-world outcome. The app is a game — the outcome is for fun.
